Owner Video — Manager Access — set up your team

Hi, I'm Clive from SafeguardingUK.

In this video I'll show you how to set up your team — giving your managers their access.

Only you, the owner, can create Manager Access — and you do it from your dashboard.

Go to the Create Manager Access card.

Enter their name, their email address, and their mobile number.

The mobile matters — it's used for text alerts, and for the critical phone call if you later make them your Safeguarding Lead.

Then give them a Role Name — their job title, like Deputy Manager or Care Coordinator.

That's just a label. Everyone with Manager Access has the same powers — the role name is only so you can tell them apart.

One tip: don't type "Safeguarding Lead" as a role name. The Lead is set separately, with a button — that's the next video.

Click Create Manager Access and Send Welcome Email.

They get an email with a secure link to set their own password — nothing for you to hand out.

Your new manager now appears in your team list, with their name, role, last login and status.

You can edit someone, or remove their access, from here too.

That's your team set up.
